Playa Blanca (Spanish for "White Beach") is the southernmost town of the Spanish island of Lanzarote and is approximately a 30 minute drive from the airport (Arrecife). Villa Montana Vista is a short walk along the seafront promenade from the bustling Marina Rubicon with a wide range of restaurants and bars, there is a market on a Wednesday and Saturday mornings, selling handcrafted gifts to local wines. It is one of our favourite spots to relax and enjoy a glass of Sangria and tapas.

You are spoilt for choice for beaches:

The unspoilt natural beaches of Papagayo are just a 10/15 minute walk over the headland, a collection of smaller beaches Papagayo wins you over with its crystal clear water. It's perfect for taking up snorkelling and for enjoying the beauty of its depths. Suitable for naturist sunbathing.

If you fancy a swim whilst walking along the seafront promenade in the centre of town there is a small beach called Playa Blanca (White Beach). It is a mix of sand and rocks and is the quietest of the resort's 3 main beaches, set amongst the resorts many cafes and restaurants.
